No doubt this has been seen before but it was new to me. Dopisy V Krajkach (2000) seems to have been a Czech TV drama about the decadence in pre-revolutionary France.
The main thrust of the drama, so to speak, seems top be the writing of literature upon the naked bodies of the ladies of the court. Perhaps it is the works of De Sade they read for as the story unfolds it seems that one cruel woman is whipping a girl on the bare bottom to form lines on which to ‘play’ a violin.
Not shown in this clip, but with the help of the villagers, this cruel woman later a woman is induced by her lover to be trained as a pony girl, a afte she seems to embrace.
